View Detailed Map Descriptions
  1. Check your system.
    Go through the one-step requirement checklist  before running GEODE.
  2. Select Map Scale. 
    Select World Map or United States Index Map.

  3. Start GEODE.
    Mouseover a shaded rectangular area on US Index Map or select from drop down menu to start using GEODE.  
    Note : This will start up the applet, which may take a few minutes depending on your system and connection speed to the internet.
  • Index Maps
    Display locations of Content Maps and only a few data layers and reduced functionality.
     
  • Content Maps
    Display a wider variety of data and provide full GEODE functionality.
